Why do new drivers normally have to pay more for car insurance? Well its because 1 in 5 new drivers WILL have an accident within the first 6 months of passing their driving test!!

What exactly are you selling?

Young Marmalade sells joint car and insurance packages to 17-25 year old drivers. We offer both brand new, and nearly new (under 18 months old) cars. We only sell small cars with 4* or 5* EuroNCAP safety ratings and we only offer fully-comprehensive insurance policies.
Our main motivation is to keep young drivers safe and help them enjoy the fun and freedom driving offers. We believe our package offers this and have over 1,000 happy customers who we think will agree with us!

Why is Young Marmalade different to other car or insurance companies?

We are different because we are neither a car dealer, nor an insurance company. Young Marmalade specialises in selling joint car and insurance packages for young people. Our aim is to make it easy for young drivers to get on the road in a safe, reliable, fully-insured car, at a price that won't break the bank. We genuinely believe we offer a value-for-money product that helps many young people drive a car they wouldn't normally be able to afford.

How do you manage to sell cars and insurance so cheaply? What's the catch?

Quite simply, there isn't one. We buy direct from the manufacturers and secure special insurance rates that allow us to offer these great deals to our customers.

What are my options for paying for the package?

There are three main options:
Cash Purchase - Payment either by bank transfer or debit card.
Hire Purchase - Based upon an initial payment, followed by equal payments over the duration of the agreement.
Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) - This is a variation of a hire purchase agreement with an optional final payment based upon anticipated mileage. This results in considerably reduced monthly payments.
